How to Export a Meeting Transcript
to Google Docs

Noty.ai securely stores all your conversation transcripts within the application. However, you can easily export call and meeting transcripts to Google Docs for efficient meeting minutes or data backup.

While Noty.ai exports the transcript and highlights, for AI-generated content, simply copy and paste it into your document.

  1. Go to the Noty.ai app and open the conversation which transcript you would like to export.

  2. In the upper horizontal menu, click Transcript tab. From there, click Export to Doc:

Setting a primary workspace is important as all your conversation transcriptions will be stored there. If you need to store certain conversations in the workspace that is not your primary, you need to change the settings.

Important: For users on Pro plan, primary workspace is assigned by default. It's the paid workspace on your account.


Keep in mind that you need to change your primary workspace before the meeting that you want to store in another workspace. To assign a primary workspace, follow these steps:

1. As you sign in to the Noty.ai application, the primary workspace will open by default. In the left menu panel, click on your current workspace name. In the drop-down list, select the workspace that you want to make primary:

In the new pop-up window, you will see the document created from the transcript. Click on it and you will be taken to Google Docs where the document opens:

Important: If you had previously exported this transcript and then made edits inside Noty platform, you will need to create a new export document, so the changes are reflected in the new document for everyone to take note of.

Useful Tips

Feel free to export transcripts as many times as needed. Please note that any edits made to your transcript within the Noty.ai app won't reflect in the corresponding Google document.

To maintain an up-to-date version, create a new Google Doc each time you make edits to your transcript

Keep in mind that the number of conversations stored in your Workspace depends on your subscription. Make sure to upgrade your plan to retain access to your conversations and work seamlessly with your team.
