Learn the ropes of sharing your conversations effortlessly with Noty.ai. Our article breaks down the process of sharing transcripts during and after calls, offering valuable insights into this feature.

Here are a few options for sharing call transcriptions:

  • Export your transcription to a Google Doc.

  • Send emails containing a link to the transcribed conversation.

  • Grant access to the transcript directly via a link within the Noty.ai application.

Important things to remember:

  • All transcribed conversations reside in your primary workspace, ensuring continuity even if you switch workspaces.

  • Non-participants with Noty.ai account can access shared transcripts for follow-ups and exports to Google Docs, but cannot modify or share the conversation further.

  • Noty.ai offers three sharing configurations: restricted (for call participants and granted access), workspace members (including call participants), and anyone with a link (in addition to call participants).

  • Call participants with a Noty.ai account can access and interact with transcripts in their workspace without altering your original transcription.

  • Non-participants without a Noty.ai account are temporarily unable to access the transcript.

Share conversations via email

  1. Open the conversation and go to the Transcript tab in the upper horizontal menu.

  2. Click the Share icon.

Setting a primary workspace is important as all your conversation transcriptions will be stored there. If you need to store certain conversations in the workspace that is not your primary, you need to change the settings.

Important: For users on Pro plan, primary workspace is assigned by default. It's the paid workspace on your account.


Keep in mind that you need to change your primary workspace before the meeting that you want to store in another workspace. To assign a primary workspace, follow these steps:

1. As you sign in to the Noty.ai application, the primary workspace will open by default. In the left menu panel, click on your current workspace name. In the drop-down list, select the workspace that you want to make primary:

  1. You will see a pop-up window with sharing configurations. You can invite more teammates or control who else has access to the transcript, deleting non-member participants if needed:

  1. Modify access permissions as needed. Here you can control who has access to the link to the transcript once it's been shared:

  1. Finally, you can copy the link to the transcript for easy sharing. The link will be available for you to enter in any message or document:

You can change sharing settings and/or revoke access to non-participants at any time. Just go back to the conversation and click on the sharing icon to modify access permissions.

Sharing transcripts via Google Doc

You can download the transcript as a Google Doc and simply share it with anyone.

You can also share the meeting within the Folder, tag your teammates in To-do's or share only summaries with Follow-ups and Meeting recaps.

Keep in mind that the number of conversations stored in your Workspace depends on your subscription. Make sure to upgrade your plan to retain access to your conversations and work seamlessly with your team.
